A month ago, I stopped over in Chicago on my way to a conference to spend some quality time with family and friends.
It’s not out of the frying pan into the fire, it’s from one wintry clime to a polar vortex (or what most other people call, winter). But winter, summer, spring, fall… I love Chicago. 🙂

Just got back home after a rather grueling three weeks of living out of my suitcase. Mind you, I’m not complaining. It’s just nice to be in my apartment and be back to the routine of everyday life.

I have no idea why an Asian-inspired fan was open at a Greek cultural festival in Ventura, CA but I, for one, am glad for the memory of summer festivals and this photo of a great red umbrella on this dreary winter day. 🙂
